The Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. High School Memorial Scholarship Fund is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors (elected every 2 years) drawn from the local community. Board members provide leadership, governance, and oversight to support a strong and transparent scholarship organization.

An Advisory group of appointed community members supports the Board of Directors by offering experience, perspective, and community insight.

The Board of Directors oversees scholarship fund stewardship and ensures proceeds from the Annual Chicken Barbecue and donations support graduating seniors selected for a scholarship award.

Board members and Advisors meet monthly via Zoom to review operations, support fundraising oversight, and guide the continued work of this community led scholarship organization.
